Welcome to our first e-newsletter. My name is Vincent Del Gaizo and I am the Chairman of Friends of CARRA. We will be sending out a newsletter every three months to update you on new, exciting happenings with the Friends of CARRA, the CARRA organization and new developments with pediatric rheumatic diseases. We hope you enjoy the newsletter and PLEASE foward it to a friend. Raising awareness of these diseases and our organization are so vitally important.

The Golf Fore a Cause, Find a Cure Tournament is a unique opportunity to play golf at a private club and support CARRA´s research efforts. The golf tournament will take place at the Almaden Golf and Country Club in San Jose California.

2nd Annual Hoops for Hope is a 3v3 Basketball Tournament for kids through adults in San Jose, California at Pioneer High School. A silent auction will take place during the tournament.

8th Annual Hayhurst Kid´s Triathlon Benefitting CARRA will be held at the Conestoga Recreation & Aquatic Center in Beaverton, Oregon. During the Triathlon, participants of all ages swim 50-100 meters, bike 2 miles, and run 1/2 of a mile.
